But we do see how Carol betrayal has already costing her relationship with her stepchildren and their families and got to live with the guilt that Ted destiny was in part instigated by her affair.
Apart from that. I do agree with the author, the use of current or past IRL events can gave a story a good dosis of realism if such use of those events its done correctly. However there will be always the risk of that those who disagree with the author use of the same. Once and again showing us that the polarization of the society its not something exclusive of the USA or Europe.
