I m currently taking 600 mg/day (2 x 100 mg Gabapentin 3xs a day) and would like some help weaning off of this. Would you recommend to 1. Take 400 mg/day (2 x 100 mg Gabapentin 2xs a day) or 2. Take 300 mg/day (1 x 100 mg Gabapentin 3xs a day)? What would be the step after that? Answer

Not much good news. Went to my neuropathist on Wednesday for a series of tests. 'Yes', I have nerve damage and 'no', the doctor looking at the results couldn't understand why. Essentially, they ran an escalating electric current from various spots on my lower leg and foot to toes to see how I responded. I highly recommend this as a means of torture.
On the downside, I am becoming resistant to my pain medication, so life sucks coming and going. My psychiatrist upped my Gabapentin from 300 Mg to 400 Mg [3x a day] and it isn't helping. Woot? I'd kill for a decent night's sleep.
Thank you for asking. I really wish I had better news.

1. If you are truly an elk hunter you don’t go to town in the morning of the first day of a hunt! Prime time is the crack of dawn and you just don’t miss that, especially when you were sure you needed cartridges the day before!
2. While the .300 Winchester is an ideal calibre for elk they just don’t make cartridges with 270 or 300 grain bullets. Sometimes, though rarely, one might find .300 cartridges with 250 grain bullets but those primarily used for elk range in the area of 180 to 200 grains with the larger being most likely in bear country!!
